The program for this project was to take one of the assigned paintings and analyze the painting looking at color, light, solid/void, line, shape, motion, ect. After analyzing the picture, we took four of the attributes and represented the analysis in three colors of colored paper as well as one other material. After we analyzed the painting and made the colored paper drawings, we made an analysis drawing to combine the four colored paper drawings. This part of the project took two weeks and was our catalyst project.

Design Intent:
My design intent was to represent Paul Klee's painting, Highways and Byways, to the best of my ability. For the colored paper drawings I decided to look at the different colors, lines, shapes, and motion represented in the painting. After that I took those four drawings and combined them to make my drawing analysis showing line, shape, and motion.
